Page 155 The total of new Staff in September 1958 was twelve, an unprecedented number. Two of the others, perhaps greeted with particular warmth, were Messrs. Harry Lewis and Malcolm West, who were to re-open the wood and metal shops. 'Re-open', because a year before, when Mr. Charles Cook emigrated to Canada, it was found impossible to replace him. The one man who did apply was put off by the size of the teaching groups.
