An Alphabetical Song
A is for Abel who sits by the door,
In lessons he sleeps and wakes with a snore,

He wears his suit proper but not so his cap:

His hair is so ginger it looks like a flame.
D's for Dunlevy, his legs always swing.
And so riles the masters they can't say a thing.
T is for every one who makes such a noise,
That 3Bs well known for its unruly boys.
F is for Fido, the forms clever scribe,
Hell help you with prep for a fairly large bribe.
G is for Godwin whos always off side.
To work in the scrum his head is too wide.
H is for Holtom, fell under a mower.
So his hair is so short and grows slower and slower.
I is for Ingram, hes never on time.
His life is one long, anxious dilatory crime.
J is for Jimmy whose surname is King
His life is so blameless he cant say a thing.
K is for Kinmond the history brain,
But not good at singing, so thinks Mr.Lane.
L is for Laccer his name is too long,
Whenever we spell it we all get it wrong.
M is for Millpond, a dry pool at that,
He is famous for nothing so that must be that.
N is for Nibs who keeps the forms place,
He sometimes forgets and so falls from grace.
O is for Owen who comes on the train,
He hates Dr.Beeching, he thinks is insane.
P is for Pegler so tall and so bright,
He sleeps all the day and works all the night.
Q is for Quells, his other name's Twizzle,
If you excite him he'll splutter and fizzle.
R is for Roy whose other names West,
We like him a lot but hes sometimes a pest.
S is for Sleath the sleuth of the class,
But sometimes he fails and look like an ass.
T is for Tebby the twin of the form,
He swims very except in a storm.
U is for Us, we make up 3B,
A happier form you never will see.
V is for Vincent whose name is Booton
He always goes mad when the Beatles are on.
Ws for Walford a very keen angler.
But when he's at school, hes always a wangler.
X is a letter thats hard to employ,
Except in algebra where it gives no joy.
Y is for you as you read through this ballad,
We hope you enjoy it for it made us glad.
Z Is for zoo for which 3B is named,
As you have heard, for noise it is named.
